BLACK KALEIDOSCOPE

When my oldest daughter was 5 years old, she had a red, toy kaleidoscope she called a "telescope.” She found great joy twisting the kaleidoscope’s ring to see the endless variety of colors and patterns created. BLACK KALEIDOSCOPE is a telescope of sorts, bringing into focus a rich tapestry of African-American shades, textures and amazing faces that tell stories about our history, our present, and our future.
